VICTORIAN DUMBARTON RIFLE VOLUNTEERS GLENGARRY

Extremely rare.
DRV o/r's glengarry.
Classic Victorian shape.
Red / white dicing as per the Argylls..
DRV cap badge with domed out centre and is original to the glengarry .
Leather trim.
No tails.
No moth or damage.
From my personal collection of Argylls related items and a reluctant sale as this is the only one I've ever encountered.
The DRV later became the 9th A & S.H. I believe this piece to be circa just post 1881 when they were wearing the Argylls glengarry but with the Dumbarton badge.
