Early type eagle.
Double named, once to skirt and the other to liner. Also unit markd and large stencilled 5 to crown next to the dome stamp.
Maker and dated brown chin strap.
Double banded liner.
ET 62 in block script. Batch no. 4192.
Brian Rice's helmet code book confirms this helmet left the factory in 1939 as a double decal Luft, block script, double banded liner and was a size 62, so nothing changed on this "One Look" helmet.
