BATTLE DAMAGED LUFTWAFFE M40 FIELD DIVISION GERMANHELMET

Field division helmet with green camo overpaint. Inside with original Luftwaffe blue paint.Good eagle decal. Liner present and in good shape with relevant tearing where the bullet has passed through. Original draw string. Cut chin strap with early aluminium buckle. Bullet has pierced the shell and impacted on the opposite side causing a crack. Owners finger prints to crown where he has touched it while paint was still wet. Very evocative piece. Quist 64 shell.
