U BOAT ZEISS 7 BY 50 BINOCULARS

A super condition pair of these high quality binos regarded by some as the best ever made. This pair with nice clear lenses. Ordnance tan body. Serial no,BLC 58587. rubber very good overall with only slight perishing to the edges on the large ends. Push in caps for eyepieces absent.Excellent condition neck strap.
These were part of a trove gathered from the German North Sea bases aT the end of WW2 and sold off in Scotland possibly from Rosyth in the early 1950's. They were bought by a Scottish dealer who then sold them on although even in those days they were very expensive. This pair were bought by a Fife man who kept them in a cupboard until they were recently inherited by his son who sold them to me.
